Feeding Instructions:
75% SEED-PELLET BLEND: Refresh daily and always keep 3/4 full. If you choose to make your own blend, mix approximately 75% pellet and 25% seed.
20% FRESH FOODS Dark leafy greens, vegetables, fresh fruits and whole grains served every other day.
5% TREATS: Honey sticks and millet spray make tasty treats. Offer them once a month WATER Replenish your bird’s bottle or bowl with fresh, clean water every day.
When Should I Contact a Veterinarian>
In addition to regularly scheduled appointments, contact your avian veterinarian if you notice the following signs:
- Sitting at the bottom of the enclosure
- Decreased appetite
- Weight loss
- Less activity and preening
- Feathers fluffed for long periods of time
- Sneezing; discharge from eyes, nose or mouth
- Runny droppings for more than two days
- onstantly plucking feathers or feathers are falling out.
